
After decades of call for the government to address the flood of immigrants into Sabah, the first witness finally took the stand today at a royal commission of inquiry (RCI) on the issue.
However, the RCI is unlikely to address the core concerns immediately, as initial witnesses are to brief the RCI members on the history and demographics of Sabah, setting the groundwork for the commission's investigation.The first witness called today was historian Ramlah Adam(right), followed by historian Ranjit Singh.
