The Prime Minister is supposed to be in town on Saturday 23rd March for his Janji di Tepati road tour.
PKR has no qualms when Jalur Gemilang were put up all over town as an act of welcoming the Prime Minister.
However the complaints that came to us is that PKR flags were taken down while BN flags stayed in place where the Jalur Gemilang were put up.

Yang DiPertua Majlis Perbandaran Kuantan YH Dato Hj Zulkifli bin Hj Yaacob has been under tremendous pressure by both sides PR and BN to keep to his words re- allowing party flags to be put up considering election is near as long as the flags does not obstruct public view on signage.
But he finally succumbed to the pressures and at the same time proven that he is biased towards BN and at the same time acting as an agent for BN.
This is in total contradiction to his statement before this that as long as the flags does not block the public view on signage, then they will stay.
24 hours challenge to MPK
I hereby give 24 hours notice to MPK till Friday morning to prove to the taxpayers that they are not another campaign arm of BN. They MUST remove ALL BN flags in areas where PKR flags have been removed.
Let just the Jalur Gemilang remain without any party flags in sight. Or alternatively, let both party flags co-exist. And MPK must prove that they are not trying to simply please the PM.
The rakyat is watching. And will not compromise on this principle.
Fuziah Salleh is the PKR MP for Kuantan
