Lahad Datu : Yudhyono Addresses Brunei ?

Here is an interesting twist :  Inquirer Mindanao
  • Indonesian president urges diplomatic solution to Sabah crisis
  • Yudhyono pushing for diplomatic solution to Sabah crisis, Antara reported
  • “I hope the problem in Sabah between Malaysian security forces and a group of armed Filipinos could be resolved soon,” Yudhoyono said
  • if crisis not resolved soon, he would “pursue a diplomatic approach in the near future, because it’s bad.”
  • “It does not mean Indonesia will intervene in Malaysia’s internal affairs, no,”
  • hoped two parties could find a peaceful solution to the problem.
  • many Indonesians fled their jobs in palm oil plantations in Lahad Datu.
  • hoping that Brunei, as current Asean chair, “would take pro-active moves to help resolve the problem peacefully.
  • “This is a sensitive issue,” he said. “We must not be indifferent to the problem,”
  • “The problem must not be complicated further,” Yudhoyono said. “Therefore we must have the right stance,” he said, addressing Brunei.
Here is some better news from our side :

  • Lahad Datu: Hamza - Fewer than 50 Sulu gunmen left in Kampung Tanjung Batu
  • Expressing confidence they would be decimated soon
  • We are all out to flush them out," he said Monday.
  • Army chief : mopping up operations completed in two or three days' time
Indonesian President Yudhyono is addressing Brunei? I think this is already interfering in our domestic affairs.

If it is not resolved soon, Susilo Bambang Yudhyono will pursue a diplomatic approach? What does that mean?

And no it is definitely NOT a "problem between Malaysian security forces and a group of armed Filipinos"?? This is a terrorist attack. Bingung Pak.

I think too many people are now trying to get involved in what is a terrorist act. How do you seek a diplomatic solution for a terrorist act? Its a terrorist act.

Folks, I think our Police and Military have to wrap this thing up.  Without endangering our boys' safety too much we need to wrap up this Lahad Datu thing asap.  If you want to make an omelette you have to break some eggs. If we want to chase out the terrorists we have to crack some skulls.
