Macamana nak boikot Coca Cola ni, susah ni

Susah, susah macam ni kalau nak boikot Coca Cola. Malu nak cerita siapa pemilik tanah, siapa pemegang saham, lagi malu kat mana kilang ini berada.

Takkan Drebar Bas Saja Yang Ajar Kerajaan Zalim? Yang Lain Mana?

Kerajaan memang zalim!

Pihak lebuhraya kemuidannya menawarkan pemberian kad Touch and Go bernilai RM10.00 sebanyak 400 keping sebagai penyelesaian jangka pendek.

Pemogok yang menerima kad Touch and Go kemudiannya bergerak meninggalkan lokasi kejadian.

Demonstration at Singapore LTA office too

Factory bus drivers was heard to hold a demonstration at the Sultan Iskandar Building in Johor Baru this morning.

At the CIQ this morning, two factory bus drivers left their buses and blocked the CIQ in a protest against Malaysia charging "toll" for use of the Eastern Dispersal Link into Singapore. The four years overdue toll charges is being drummed up by DAP as increase in toll by 570%.

After they have practised their democratic rights, which Malaysia is more open to these days, these bus drivers should do the same at the Singapore's Land Transport Authority at the old Kandang Kerbau Hospital at1 Hemphshire Road, Singapore.

Do block the road with few buses at Singapore's CIQ. See how democratic SIngapore is to dissenting views. After all, Singapore should be open to dissenting views since they fund and particpate in demonstrations to sabotage Rapid Pengerang to save their smuggling business.

This morning on the first day of the toll charges for EDL highway charged at the CIQ, factory buses had jammed up the bus lane to Singapore with a demonstration. This had disrupted other public buses making their way to Singapore.

The demosntrators demanded that the tol charges be revived back to the old rates.Otherwise, the same demonstration will occur tomorrow.

There was negotation between the leader, one Chandran P. Gopa with the the Pengarah Lembaga L/ raya Malaysia Bhgn. Selatan En Mohamed Ridzuan bin Jahidin with the offer is a Touch N Go card offer of RM10 each for 200-400 pieces as short term measure.

The payment mode for entry will use the Touch and Go card.

One eye witness source said it was stage by two bus drivers who blocked the bus route about a few metres from CIQ tolling. The two drivers then refused to bulge.

However it was not a demonstration but made to look like one.

Hopefully they would be fair to do a similar thing in Singapore. Do not blame one side and keep quiet on the other party involved also.

See if they can ever return to Singapore.

RUBBISH DR DZUL: The only fools are Hadi, your assistant Zuhdi & the curry-powder Ustaz - PAS must decide if it wants in or OUT

RUBBISH DR DZUL: The only fools are Hadi, your assistant Zuhdi & the curry-powder Ustaz - PAS must decide if it wants in or OUT
A PAS leader has made an impassioned plea to his Pakatan Rakyat colleagues to stop the public warfare and convene a Pakatan presidential council immediately to settle all problems definitively.
"Please my friends, wake up from the preoccupation and ruthless cyclical trap with this destruction and shouting, enough is enough of destroying Pakatan Rakyat!
"Immediately convene a Pakatan presidential council meeting to arrest the self-destruction without waiting for (the PAS central committee meeting) on Aug 10 to manage this terrible crisis," said PAS central committee member Dzulkefly Ahmad in a message this morning.
He said waiting 10 days for a meeting was "too long in politics, and the mass media", reminding his colleagues that their fierce in-fighting is being conducted in full public view.
"It would be a tragedy if Pakatan Rakyat ends here…," he added.
Civil war now in PAS itself
Urging his colleagues to stop “shooting among themselves”, he pointed out how their faces have been making the front pages of newspapers.
“Isn’t it weird that you are given the space (on the front pages of newspapers)?
“The space is given because you are shooting among yourselves! Stop doing so because you are only the laughing stock of our political rivals.”
The former Kuala Selangor MP lamented how the rakyat’s perception on them has changed, where party members are seen to only fight for the interests of their cliques.
He also disagreed that only divine intervention can save Pakatan at this point, saying that Allah will not change a man’s fate unless he himself wants to change it.
“The priority now is to unite everyone in a particular organisation. If the party leadership fails to do this, history will punish you.
“You (warring PAS members) will be seen as the ones who permitted for Pakatan to split and will be seen as the ones responsible in triggering the crisis."
Inconsequential? Or did Hadi cross the line?
Meanwhile, Ikatan Muslimin Malaysia (Isma) president Abdullah Zaik Abdul Rahman said this case has shown PAS’ position in the Pakatan alliance to be “inconsequential (melukut di tepi gantang)”.
According to Ismaweb, Abdullah accused PAS of lowering its dignity to DAP and this, he said, does not reflect a Muslim’s characteristics of honour and courage to stand alone.
He further warned that this has the potential to destroy Islam and the Malays if Pakatan is allowed to rule. - Mkini

Bees to honey, like prime ministers to money

The latest scandal, involving the supply of the RM5 polymer banknotes implicates the usual suspects – prime ministers, senior ministers and relatives of these ministers.
COMMENT
corruption_300Any Malaysian who thinks that the West is free of corruption, and could “assist” Malaysia in ridding the country of corrupt leaders, injustice and other human rights abuses, is both naïve and stupid. Only Malaysians can be blamed for the state of the nation. That is why the reaction of the Umno-Baru and BN supporters, to the WikiLeaks revelation that the current and former Malaysian prime ministers are embroiled in yet another multi-million ringgit scandal, should prove interesting.
The latest scandal, involving the supply of the RM5 polymer banknotes implicates the usual suspects – prime ministers, senior ministers and relatives of these ministers.
You and I know that we would face suspension, disciplinary action and possible sacking, if we were to take home a pencil or a ream of paper from the stationery cupboard in our office. Our leaders get away scot-free from their multi-million ringgit scandals. It is not the first time, nor will it be the last time, that we see the familiar ministerial names in the list of the “corrupt”. The important thing is how we, as a nation, deal with this problem. Or do we shrug our shoulders, and do nothing?
The country is being bled dry by these leaders, who should be putting the nation’s interests before their own. Will the Umno-Baru and BN supporters demand a full disclosure and accountability of their leaders’ actions, or will they, like the Australian government want to protect their leaders’ already tarnished image?
Have we become immune to news of multi-million ringgit corruption scandals which are linked to our leaders? This is dangerous. It is our apathy which enables these irresponsible leaders to continue damaging the nation.
In the latest damning WikiLeaks exposé, Julian Assange alleged that the Australian government had imposed a gag order and super injunction, in an attempt to cover up a multi-million dollar international banknote scandal. It is alleged that bribes had been offered to Malaysian prime ministers, by the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) and its subsidiaries, to facilitate the supply of the RM5 polymer banknotes.
In everyday life, we are shocked if a junior employee is jailed and fined for his role in stealing milk to feed his baby. We get angry when the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) claims that there is “no further action” to be taken when senior politicians are investigated, in major corruption scandals.
We are disappointed when corruption cases of high profile individuals linked to the government are terminated for “lack of evidence” or some minor technicality. The small fry is caught, but the big fish swim away. The MACC and the judiciary may lack independence and appear tainted, but concerned Malaysians will always wonder, how they can bring about change. Who has the answers to this perennial dilemma?
Only ignorant Malaysians will think that the West can help. Western leaders have their own interests and image to protect. They have too much money invested in the industrial and educational sectors, in the supply of armaments and in public relations companies, like APCO.
Why should the West help Malaysia? A weak (Malaysian) leader is all the more corruptible and easily manipulated. A strong leader is less easily malleable because he will think of his nation first.
Australia imposed the gag order on the banknotes scandal, ostensibly on the grounds of “national security”, to protect Australia’s international relations. Australian image has already been tainted by the behind-the-scenes deal between former PM Julia Gillard and Najib Tun Razak, for human trafficking and asylum seekers, and the Australian owned Lynas plant, in Gebeng.
Australia is not the only country with its own interests to protect. David Cameron, of Britain, has no desire to ruffle Najib’s feathers. Cameron has arms to sell to Malaysia and large amounts of derelict property in London for Malaysian investors to develop. He has the British economy to consider and the general election is approaching. Cameron would not want to jeopardise the millions of ringgit of investment, in the British universities twinning projects.
America has unfinished business in Malaysia; the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA) is still to be signed. The Americans need an outlet for their manufactured goods. The Americans are also wary of the increasing influence of the People’s Republic of China and Russia in the region. America would do anything, even overlook extremism and religious intolerance in Malaysia, to have a foothold in the country, so it can spy on the other two superpowers.
It was alleged that the New Zealand Foreign Minister did not read the email about the Malaysian military attaché Muhammad Rizalman Ismail, the alleged rapist, who invoked diplomatic immunity and returned to Malaysia to escape charges for burglary and attempted rape. Why is New Zealand afraid of opening this particular can of worms?
Corruption trials do take a long time. So, what is the progress of the Scorpene submarine corruption investigation? Why should France speed up the process especially when Malaysia may be interested in purchasing more submarines and other weaponry?
Singapore is a global financial centre, but many allege that it is also a convenient place for corrupt dictators and drug barons to launder their ill-gotten gains. Why should Singapore work against the corrupt leaders of Malaysia? A strong and less corrupt Malaysia will work against Singaporean interests.
What about the allegation that Israel is Malaysia’s 15th largest trading partner? After all the protests against Israeli and their persecution of the Palestinian people, isn’t that hypocrisy in the extreme?
In the West, the public reacts strongly to a leader who has a whiff of corruption about him. There will be a demand for him to resign, or clear his name, so as not to disgrace his office. Their politicians, even if corrupt, have a modicum of principle.
So, if you are disappointed with your corrupt Malaysian politicians and the collusion of the West, in hiding these scandals, you cannot sit on the sidelines and hope that change will happen, as if by magic. Only you have the power to bring about change!

Waytha: Preacher did not express regret

Hindraf rejects Muslim preacher Shahul Hamid Seeni Mohd's apology because it is insincere.
waythamoorthyGEORGE TOWN: The Civil rights movement, Hindraf said Muslim preacher Shahul Hamid Seeni Mohd’s apology is insincere because he did not express regret.
Hindraf national chairman P Waythamoorthy said Shahul only stated that he did not intend to insult the Hindus.
“If Shahul was honest, he should have expressed regret and apologised for insulting Hindus and the religion,” he said.
He added that Shahul owed an open apology to all Malaysians for his racist stance calling on Muslims to boycott curry powders of Alagappa’s and Baba’s brands, which were produced by Indian-owned companies.
Waythamoorthy called on the police to initiate a sedition case against the preacher.
He said Shahul probably did not expect the video footage to go public as he had spoken the offensive remarks before an all-Muslim audience behind closed doors.
“He should openly admit that he was wrong to denigrate another religion and that Islam does not condone such act.
“Malaysia is a multiracial country which enjoys peace and harmony. Shahul has disrupted this by his racist remarks that Muslims should only buy Malay or Muslim-made curry powder,” he told FMT today.
Several video footages showing Shahul insulting Hindus and making racist comments against Alagappa’s and Baba’s had gone viral this week.
The preacher, a PAS member of the Tanjung division, has made the offensive remarks in a Islamic forum in Penang four years ago.
It is learnt that the video footages were leaked out by certain PAS members who disliked Shahul, who owns a sundry shop in Teluk Kumbar.
Shahul is now being investigated by the police under Section 4(1)(c) of the Sedition Act 1948 following nearly 450 police reports lodged against him.
At the press conference held in a mosque in Bandar Baru Perda here yesterday, Shahul, 38, apologised to the Indian community.
Shahul, who is now out on police bail, had earlier apologised to Hindus on his Facebook page and through a video clip.
He however, did not offer any apology to Alagappa’s or Baba’s.
Penang PAS deputy commissioner and national unity bureau chairman Mujahid Yusof Rawa told reporters yesterday that Shahul’s remarks did not represent the party’s view.

Decide first if a woman can be MB, DAP tells political parties

There are many parties who oppose PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail’s nomination as replacement Selangor menteri besar on the grounds of her sex. – The Malaysian Insider pic, August 1, 2014.There are many parties who oppose PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail’s nomination as replacement Selangor menteri besar on the grounds of her sex. – The Malaysian Insider pic, August 1, 2014.
DAP wants all political parties to declare their stand on whether a woman can be appointed as menteri besar before they talk about other issues.
Party secretary-general Lim Guan Eng said the gender issue should be addressed first before the pros and cons of changing the Selangor menteri besar were weighed against one another.
Lim said all party heads, including Barisan Nasional leader Datuk Seri Najib Razak, should state their stand to support diversity and inclusiveness.
"It is important that all political parties come out and clear this gender hurdle... otherwise, we leave the impression that (PKR president Datuk Seri Dr) Wan Azizah Wan Ismail is disqualified from becoming the menteri besar merely because she is a woman," he told a press conference at his Komtar office today.
Lim was commenting on the situation in Selangor regarding the move to replace current menteri besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim with Dr Wan Azizah, who is also Anwar's wife.
When her name came up for the menteri besar's post, remarks were made by some PAS members that she was not suitable for the job.
A legal adviser to Umno Datuk Mohd Hafarizam Harun went a step further when he said Dr Wan Azizah could not be appointed to the post because she had menses.

"Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that a woman cannot be a menteri besar... so let us clear this gender hurdle first and state that we can accept and support a woman menteri besar.
"I am not saying this as Lim Guan Eng but as Penang chief minister and secretary-general of my party," Lim said.
PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang has also opposed replacing Khalid with Dr Wan Azizah.
His view was also supported by PAS spiritual leader Datuk Seri Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat.
Hadi's statement goes against the Pakatan Rakyat presidential council’s decision.
Last Sunday, Lim warned that a break-up of the coalition was possible if a component party could simply disregard an agreement reached among the parties.
Pakatan Rakyat is expected to hold a meeting on August 10 to discuss the issues affecting the coalition, but Lim said the meeting was not to discuss the possible break-up but issues to be addressed by PAS and DAP.

"The meeting is not about the coalition breaking-up."
