NAJIB CORNERED! Here comes Muhyiddin but is he well enough?

NAJIB CORNERED! Here comes Muhyiddin but is he well enough?
Besides Tun Daim Zainudin, Datuk A. Kadir Jasin, Datuk Mukhriz Mahatir and Datuk Zainudin Maidin, a few more people have started to come out and criticise Najib.
Remember Tan Sri Sabbaruddin Chik who was not happy with the way he had been treated by Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s man, Dato' Haji Hassan Malek? Sabbaruddin was practically ‘sacked’ when his job as the Chairman of Bank Rakyat was not extended.
Recently Shahbudin Husin has written a book exposing the scandal in Bank Rakyat involving Najib’s wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor and carpet dealer Deepak Jaikishan. It is not surprising that it was Tan Sri Sanusi Junid who launched the book.
Earlier Tan Sri Sanusi Junid in one video clip reiterated that since both Dr. Mahathir and Najib have opposing views on how the government should be managed, and when Najib refused to change, the other alternative would be for Najib to resign. But Najib refused and want to stay on with his own policies and style.
Datuk Khairuddin Abu Hassan the Batu Kawan Umno vice-division head was also adamant in openly criticizing 1MDB and Najib. Recently the Umno Information Chief of Taman Chempaka, Syed Rosli Syed Harman Jamalullail has also openly demanded Najib resigns.
PM Najib and Dr M
Syed Akbar Ali blogger of Out Syed The Box has also criticized Najib. After Najib called the paid pro-Umno bloggers as ‘bangang’ (idiots) Out Syed The Box website was blocked.
The above are some prominent both Umno and ex-Umno people who have got nothing to lose and no fear in attacking Najib but, what about Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yasin who is most likely to replace Najib?
Was it Muhyiddin who 'back-stabbed' Najib at Cabinet meeting
Najib has already given the instruction for the Auditor-General to audit the accounts of 1MDB indicating that Najib has somewhat conceded in his previous stance, which was not to get the Auditor-General involved in 1MDB. Najib has wavered and the Economist reported that Najib would be challenged sooner than later.
Muhyiddin has now openly put his foot down and demanded that the audit must be transparent and in trying to salvage 1MDB he insisted that it should not be bailed out using public funds. He is like saying, “Enough is enough!”
So who convinced and led the Cabinet to decide not to pump in anymore money to save the sinking 1MDB?
Most probably it was Muhyiddin and he is not the usual obedient deputy after all. Thus this is a clear sign that indeed Najib is now being pushed to a corner and Muhyiddin is clearly starting to take the lead now; the cabinet has shown their support to Muhyiddin!
PM Najib
Most probable choice as next PM
Muhyiddin is the most probable choice as the next prime minister because he has underwent the necessary grooming as he had been the head of various ministries.
He has had his critical moments after being relegated to head the Ministry of Agriculture but he persists on; he knows how it feels when one is vulnerable. Thus he has been very cautious not to displease his boss, waited patiently and when the time comes like now, he tread in smoothly almost with style.
Muhyiddin has also been able to stay within the limits of acceptance by both the pro and anti-Najib Umno groups. He has not angered any particular group of people including the opposition. Of course he had to be a Malay first but that doesn’t mean he hates others, well at least openly.
Muhyiddin Yassin and PM Najib
Stressful hot seat , not for the unhealthy
As for any other personality within Umno who could take over from Najib, there is none to match Muhyiddin’s c.v and seniority.
The only question mark is the rumors that continue to swirl over Muhyiddin's health. Many in Umno have speculated he has cancer. The issue could well be a ploy by his enemies to douse his chances of reaching the Umno pinnacle.
Whatever it it, it is for Muhyiddin to assure his party he can last the pace because the PM's chair is one 'hot seat'.
What about in the long term? Well the anti-Najib Umno group is only concern about the GE-14 and that is more important to think about because it is coming near.
Let us wait and see how the events unfold. Najib will be allowed to stay on for the time being and get his daughter married just like Datuk Seri Ahmad Said the ex-Menteri Besar of Terengganu whom Najib allowed to stay on until all the events for the marriage of his daughter was completed. - MAILBAG
