WHEN A DOUBLE-TALKING ULTRA-MALAY LIKE ZAHID WARNS OF ETHNIC CLEANSING, LOCAL CHINESE SHOULD BEWARE

WHEN A DOUBLE-TALKING ULTRA-MALAY LIKE ZAHID WARNS OF ETHNIC CLEANSING, LOCAL CHINESE SHOULD BEWARE
Racism in Malaysia is isolated but must be stopped completely to prevent such sentiments from spiralling into “ethnic cleansing and such threats should be nipped in the bud, according to Deputy Prime Minister Zahid Hamidi.
This is the third statement on racism from him within a week following the Red Shirts incident that fizzled out after a Chinese Ambassador made a surprise visit to Chinatown, Kuala Lumpur.
Being the Deputy Prime Minister, should Malaysians take him seriously that ethnic cleansing may rear its ugly face if racism is not nipped in the bud? Will the likes of Ali TInju – the culprit responsible for the Low Yat fiasco, Jamal Yunos of the Red Shirts, Ali Rustam of the Silat Association and Deputy Minister Tajuddin be hauled up and nipped in the bud?
Talk is cheap and so is lying with a straight face if the Home Ministry lack the marbles to nip the buds of known racist organizations like Perkasa, Isma or Pekida.
Instead BERSIH rally organizers were regularly hunted down, persecuted and hurled abuse before and after the event, while closing an eye on the Red Shirts who violated the Laws to a peaceful rally hollering like a lunatic; “that this is Malay Land, You go back to China.”
Racism must be nipped in the bud
If racism is to be nipped in the bud, they should start with BN, which has three cancerous buds. Nipping these three cancerous buds would ensure a harmonious Malaysian sovereignty.
Zahid’s statement itself is so ironic especially coming from a leader of an Asean nation that institutionalizes racism and uses it as a tool for political survival.
But his statement on ethnic cleansing has raised eyebrows, with many perceiving it as a thinly veiled threat. The very thought of ethnic cleansing reminds us of the horrors of the Nazis, the Rohingyas, the Bosnians, the Rwandans and May 13th closer to home - never knew that we may deteriorate to this level one day?
By the way, which ethnic group is at risk of being cleansed, Mr. DPM? Has the non-Malays ever made a public racist demonstration so far? Is Zahid pretending he does not know who the real culprits are? Clean up UMNO first, then peace and calm will follow.
Ethnic cleansing, really?
Does it mean that one race will take up machetes, choppers, baseball bats, cudgels, swords, letting out blood curdling cries and goes on a rampage, slashing, cutting and raping another race in a fit of fury and murderous rage?
Who actually sanctioned and encouraged the Red Shirt rally and still has the cheek to mouth this nonsense with intimidation of ethnic cleansing? Isn’t it the Home Ministry’s duty to ensure peace and safety?
The public will neither forgive nor forget BN’S blatant mistakes for trying to conjure up another May 13th. It will only translate into a loss of more votes for BN. The Malays themselves are definitely not amused and neither are they impressed with their ridiculous antics. It will be sheer foolishness for the Malays or anyone to continue voting for such a pathetic party comprising of bigoted fools.
The PKR never had any mega scandals that causes the Malays to fear or shy away from them, and they know deep down that something is very wrong with the current administration, especially when the Chief was found red handed with RM2.6 billion in his bank account while the country’s economy is going down South.’
The “red shirt” rally on September 16 saw racial rhetoric being spewed, with slurs, such as “Cina babi” (Chinese pigs) and calls for vernacular schools to be abolished.
Water cannons were used when a group of protesters tried to breach a police barricade at the Petaling Street shopping strip, while the spokesman for the “red shirts”, Datuk Jamal Md Yunos, is a member of the ruling Malay party, Umno, of which Najib is president and Zahid deputy president.
Jamal also threatened to stage another rally in Kajang to protest against the alleged poor services of its assemblyman, opposition leader Wan Azizah while Ali Tinju is eyeing Malacca for his next stunt.
Nipping Institutionalized racism in the bud
BN insists on one country with two systems that encourages institutionalized racism with Biro Tata Negara (BTN) spouting racist rhetoric to the Malays, while the mainstream media warns the Non Malays against getting too comfortable with the Malays.
Is it a wonder why the Chinese refuses to recognize the MCA to be the representative of the Chinese? Even the Indians are not spared, with constant power tussles in MIC and millions allotted for the Indians not accounted for.
Yes, ‘ethnic cleansing’ is a BIG STRONG WORD that Malaysians should have a cause for concern. Zahid’s meteoric rise to power from Defence Minister, Home Minister and now to Deputy Prime Minister was not without scandals, after ex DPM Muhyiddin Yassin was shockingly deposed for not siding with Najib.
Unlike other political leaders, his statements are often layered with tendencies of warnings, intimidation and threats causing the public to be especially wary of him.
Like Najib, who nearly lost his Pekan seat years back if not for a recount; Zahid’s constituency win in Perak is also suspect, with allegations of money politics and fraud claims. How can Malaysians place their trust in these two characters to lead the country forward? The both of them are turning out to be like Dr Jerkyll and Mr Hyde day by day with their crude antics.
It’s all political trickery
Today, Malaysia is rocked silly by mega scandals that threaten to destroy our economic advantage and thrust us back into the dark ages, yet BN politicians continue to play their childish games of divide and rule.
Take a step back and look around us. Do we see or experience any racial tensions between the races? No, Malaysians are too smart to believe that our next door neighbour or the man on the street is a racist. Many non Malays attest that they are served with more respect at various government agencies. The non Malays bring a breath of fresh air in an otherwise boring task.
However, Politicians continue to amaze the people with their foolishness, bigoted views and their racist rhetoric even though they do not harbour racist tendencies.
They are actually cowards, who try to extract political mileage from racism and religion to scare the public. Their incessant fear of losing their high ranking jobs and future has turned them into monsters who would not hesitate to sacrifice the lives of people as the means to an end.
A good example is Najib’s sycophants whose statements defy logic. Malaysians can actually faint at the nonsensical excuses and spins spouted by these sycophants, if they don’t clutch on to something.
Their childish strategies are simple. First, scare the hell out of the public. Secondly, play the hero who will vanquish racism with the message to vote BN so that they can take action. That way Najib gets to rule without opposition, gradually running the country to the ground. However, Malaysians have seen through their smokescreen, so they don’t get to implement plan B.
The warning is on the wall with ex Premier Mahathir openly calling on the biggest culprit Najib to resign if the Ringgit is ever to recover. He even called for Pekan folk to vote against Najib while imploring Muhyiddin to stop pussy-footing if he wants a go at the top job.
As for Zahid and whatever he says; Zahid doesn’t get to take over Najib’s job even though there are high hopes. The powers that be are going to ensure that someone less intimidating, more responsible and neutral will helm the country one day. - MAILBAG
