PKR MP's service centre splashed with red paint

PKR's Kuantan MP Fuziah Salleh's service centre was splashed with red paint last night, in what she believes is an anti-Bersih act.
She said CCTV footage showed two men wearing motorcycle helmets splashing the paint at 11.36pm.
Pictures of the service centre show the front door splashed with red paint.
"It may be a threat, as a signal to us to slow down. However, I continue to say that this is a very uncivilised act by people who are cowards.
"If you are gentlemen, you will speak up instead of acting like Ah Long (debt collectors). This is how Ah Long threaten people," Fuziah told Malaysiakini.
"This is a service centre, what threatening message are they trying to convey?" she asked.
Fuziah believes it is related to the drive to promote Bersih 5, following the "provocation" of the Bersih convoy group in Rompin two days ago.
"There was some body contact, but police came and did their job and everything ended peacefully. However, it could be related," she said.
Political party offices and MP's service centres have been splashed with red paint several times over the past few years.
This includes an Umno service centre in Bukit Antarabangsa, which was splashed with black and red paint in 2012.

A year before that, DAP's Penang headquarters was splashed with orange and red paint.
DAP's Seputeh MP Teresa Kok's office was splashed with red paint while a dead chicken was left on the staircase in 2014.
The same year, red paint was splashed on news website Malaysiakini's office, and a live duck left in front of its door. -Mkini
