The Lord be praised! It is the second coming! Has our beloved country turned a corner? Is the dawn of a new day….even maybe a new era…breaking upon us all? Last week the prime minister tells civil servants to not take what belongs to the rakyat and today I see the AG thundering down the pulpit declaring that the Attorney-General’s Chamber (AGC) will not hesitate to take stern action against any of its legal officers involved in corruption!
Is it not right that we praise the Lord that the PM and AG has seen the error of their ways?
But wait….do not rejoice too soon!
Najib’s advice is for civil servants …not for himself. Ditto for the AG…stern action for his officers not for him. So how?
Now all we need is for that Tweet of a IGP to tell us that he has completed his investigation into 1MDB and will begin rounding up the culprits soon (very soon)….and he has advised Tony Pua and Rafizi Ramli to better not have any plans to leave the country dalam masa terdekat!
And what was that Tweet of a IGP response when someone asked him about Najib Razak? His reply…. “He is not a suspect!”. Habits cerita!
Morale of the story? Cakap bukan serupa bikin ma!
