PAS wants to sue Husam over RM90m poser

PAS has denied insinuations by Salor state assemblyperson Husam Musa that the party received money from Umno through a local bank.
Its deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said that this was slander and an extension of allegations first made by Sarawak Report.
"We will take legal action against (Husam), similar to what we did with Sarawak Report," he said, adding that the legal action would be taken soon.
During a Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) ceramah in Pasir Puteh, Kelantan recently, Husam had alluded that PAS had access to Umno-linked funds.

He also named a local bank where the money was allegedly deposited.
Although he did not explicitly claim that Umno was funding PAS, he had raised this issue to highlight how two parties seem increasingly intertwined.
"So if there are elections tomorrow, we will withdraw (the funds). But that is they are with Umno. If they are not with Umno, then Umno will withdraw (the funds)," said Husam.
At the time of writing, Husam has yet to respond to request for comments.
Allegations that PAS received RM90 million from Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak first surfaced on Sarawak Report last year.
PAS reacted by issuing a letter of demand against Sarawak Report in London.- Mkini
