Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has pleaded for a stop to politicking and economic sabotage that can harm the nation.
He said inaccurate and unfounded facts can harm the country by influencing sentiment.
"This should not continue. Even though we have differing political views, national interest should not be made a gambling chip in party politics.
"National interest should be above everything. I hope, I plead that there are no (negative) elements.
"I hope what can be considered economic sabotage, must stop for the people's interest," Najib told the Dewan Rakyat today.
He was responding to Irmohizam Ibrahim (BN-Kuala Selangor) who asked how the government planned to overcome economic saboteurs.
