Fuel prices have increased for a second consecutive week, with the prices going up 4 sen across the board.
This will put the new retail price of RON95 at RM2.12, RON97 at RM2.40 and diesel at RM2.03 per litre, effective this midnight.
This is the second consecutive week for a fuel price hike since April 20.
The retail price of fuel is determined by the Mean of Platts Singapore (Mops) and currency strength average of the previous week.
Global crude oil prices continue to see a slight recovery following a sharp fall at the end of April through the beginning of May, due to higher-than-expected output by the US shale oil industry.
