MACC will submit SRC probe to AG within a month

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is expected to conclude its investigation into SRC International's RM42 million, which went to Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's personal bank account, within a month.
This is according to attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali, in response to reporters at the 17th Asean Senior Law Officials Meeting (Aslom) in Putrajaya.
"I think it should be within a month, I could say, the latest," Apandi said.
"I don't know what is the result of the investigation, I have yet to see it. My directive is to wrap up the investigation and I will give further directions."
However, Apandi declined to respond to the expose by a blog, "SPRMInsider", that alleged SRC International's money went to several individuals and company linked to Umno.

"Woh moh zai, woh ai dui (I don't know, I want to go home already)," he said.
"If you are a true Malaysian, you write more about the Batu Puteh (lawsuit). That is for the country," Apandi said, referring to the lawsuit he had just updated the media on.
"You should be more concerned about Batu Puteh, thank you very much," he quipped, when a journalist said, "we are concerned about the SRC (issue) too".
Early last month, Apandi caught the nation by surprise by classifying SRC International case as "No Further Action", which he said did not mean a case is closed.
