No PKR leaders appointed to positions within the PAS-led Kelantan government resigned despite PKR's political bureau instructing them to do so, said state menteri besar Ahmad Yaakob.
"They have not resigned and things are proceeding as usual.
"It was not what we expected," Ahmad, who is also PAS deputy spiritual leader, told journalists in Shah Alam today.
The PKR political bureau had on May 16 instructed all PKR leaders appointed to political positions under the PAS-led Kelantan government to resign.
This followed PAS' decision to formally sever ties with PKR.
Other appointed positions included village chiefs and constituency coordinators.
Ahmad was attending a breaking fast function with Kelantanese diaspora in Klang Valley, where PKR's Guchil state assemblyperson Mohd Roslan Puteh was also present.
Mohd Roslan, when met by journalists, confirmed that PKR leaders have yet to resign from their positions in the PAS-led Kelantan government.
"The political appointees - local councillors, village chiefs, (constituency) coordinators, have yet to resign as it is still being negotiated," he said.
The negotiations, he said, is between the Kelantan PKR and central leadership.
He said no formal letter had been sent on the matter yet.
Mohd Roslan added that the PAS-led Kelantan government had not discriminated PKR in the state and they have received their allocations as usual.
"To date, my allocation has not been reduced by a single sen - it's the same with what is received by other state assemblypersons from PAS," he said.
The Kelantan government had said that PKR leaders can remain in the state government despite the severing of ties between PAS and PKR.
PKR deputy president Azmin Ali, who is also Selangor Menteri Besar, had also decided to retain PAS in the Selangor government.
On another matter, Ahmad said PAS will contest all state and parliamentary seats in Kelantan in the next general election.
"In Kelantan, it'll be 100 percent (of seats contested)," he said.- Mkini
