After Najib's dig on Kajang Move, Rafizi says rakyat will have the last laugh

PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli is unfazed over Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's obvious dig at his Kajang Move political manoeuvre.
While noting that Najib may now be laughing at his expense, Rafizi expressed confidence that the people will still have the last laugh.
"I think the rakyat will have the last laugh," the Pandan MP told reporters via his Whatsapp group today.
He said this when asked for comments on Najib's Twitter post last night which threw shade on PKR in a quip over the soon-to-be-opened Kajang MRT station.
"The Real Kajang Move. Coming to you in seven days. #JomNaikMRT," Najib tweeted, along with a picture of a signboard providing directions to the station.
The quip was seen as an obvious dig at PKR's political manoeuvre to trigger the Kajang by-election and remove former Selangor menteri besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, at the time engineered by Rafizi as then PKR strategist.

The Kajang Move was largely seen as a flop although Rafizi insisted the main objective of unseating Khalid had been achieved.
Najib's attempted joke was not lost on Twitter users who replied with popular memes, including one where former US president Barack Obama deliberately drops a microphone to the ground, a move often used in popular culture to show one has won a competition.
Another had replied with a meme of Rafizi blocking a user on Twitter.
Rafizi's reputation of blocking critics on Twitter had earned him criticisms but he previously argued that he has the right to stop harassment on his own social media account.- Mkini
