Mahathir’s secret December 2017 agenda

The fact remains, Nurul and Mahathir arrived at some decision or other, which I think was designed by Mahathir to con Nurul into thinking that Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim would be made Malaysia’s eighth Prime Minister
THE THIRD FORCE
Dr Mahathir Mohamad proved today what I have been saying all along – that he intends to be the nation’s seventh Prime Minister. His plan had always been to groom Pakatan Harapan – or rather, manipulate its leadership – to prepare the coalition for Dato’ Seri Mukhriz Mahathir’s eventual appointment as the nation’s eighth Prime Minister.
The decision was made in a meeting held between DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang and Mahathir at the latter’s residence on the 26th of June 2016. The meeting, attended also by Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Mukhriz, Siti Hasmah, Haji Mohamad Sabu (from Amanah) and Dato’ Seri Azmin Ali (from PKR), noted the conspicuous no-show by Nurul Izzah Anwar, whose absence wasn’t by chance, but deliberate.
Among matters discussed by the group of seven was Kit Siang’s role in a Harapan-led administration. A decision on that matter was reached last Friday, the 14th of July 2017, when Mahathir secretly agreed to the senior Lim being made the nation’s first non-Malay deputy premier by December 2017. On that day, the team finally thought they had things sorted out, that the issue of who would lead Harapan could be put to rest.
However, widespread criticism over the existence of three top posts widened the coalition’s trust-deficitforcing Mahathir to announce that he was Harapan’s the “top dog.” But this only serves to corroborate claims I made earlier, that the former premier hijacked Harapan following a failed bid to pressure Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak into throwing in the towel.
The bid involved the funnelling of USD5 million to the Clinton Foundation in several tranches to facilitate an announcement by the United States (US) Department of Justice (DoJ), implicating Najib of a complicity to defraud Malaysian taxpayers. When the plot didn’t work, Mahathir turned to Azmin and got the Selangor Menteri Besar to inveigle a free pass for him into Harapan as its de facto chief.
Below is the excerpt of an article posted by The Third Force on Friday, the 7th of July 2017:
The former premier intended to rebrand Pakatan Harapan as The Third Force. But now that it’s no longer possible (since I am The Third Force), he set his sights on naming the coalition “Pakatan Harapan Baru” and may have discussed the matter with Nurul Izzah in London. Prior to his Guardian interview, the duo is said to have hammered out a deal that addressed the question of Pakatan’s choice candidate for the role of Prime Minister.
Under the terms of this secret deal, Anwar would agree to Mahathir’s choice for Deputy Prime Minister only if Mahathir supports him as Prime Minister. Azmin, however, is not too pleased with what has gone on. In a statement yesterday (READ HERE), the Selangor Menteri Besar stressed that Pakatan’s line-up could only be decided by its presidential council and not by Mahathir or Nurul on a unilateral basis.
Azmin’s 6th of July 2017 statement, cited above, was nothing but theatrics to diffuse anxiety among Harapan supporters following revelations by Raja Petra Kamaruddin that Nurul had gone to London to negotiate the coalition’s leadership with Mahathir. The fact remains, Nurul and Mahathir arrived at some decision or other, which I think was designed by Mahathir to con Nurul into thinking Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim would be made Malaysia’s eighth Prime Minister.
If that were to be the case, then why was Nurul barred from the secret meeting that took place on the 26th of June 2016?
