Police seek Musa Aman over 'intimidation' of governor

Police are looking for former Sabah chief minister Musa Aman in relation to their investigation into complaints that he had intimidated Governor Juhar Mahiruddin.
According to Star Online, Sabah police chief Ramli Din said Musa's whereabouts are unknown and he was required to provide a statement.
"We are still trying to get him," Ramli said.
Thus far, police have recorded statements from nine people, including Juhar, over the alleged incident which took place after the May 9 general election.
Musa was sworn in as the state's 15th chief minister on May 10. However, his government collapsed after a series of defections of state assemblypersons.
Following this, Mohd Shafie Apdal was sworn in as his replacement. Musa then filed a suit against Juhar to nullify Shafie's appointment.
Police are investigating the alleged incident under Section 506 of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum seven-year jail sentence upon conviction. - Mkini
