Former Felda chairperson Mohd Isa Samad was today asked to file his defence by the High Court in Kuala Lumpur, over a suit filed by FGV Holdings Bhd on the purchase of two luxury condominiums above market price.
Isa has to file his defence by Feb 4, said his lawyer Lavinia Kumaraendran.
Meanwhile, former FGV chief executive officer Mohd Emir Mavani Abdullah, who is named as the second defendant in the suit, has yet to appoint a lawyer for the case, revealed FGV's counsel Ang Hean Leng.
The court has fixed Jan 23 for case management.
