Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad received a courtesy visit from PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang at the Albukhary Foundation's office in Kuala Lumpur today.
This marks the second meeting between the two leaders since Mahathir assumed the premiership last year.
The Prime Minister's Office told Malaysiakini that Mahathir met Hadi at around 9am and the meeting lasted for approximately 45 minutes.
Malaysiakini understands that the meeting was requested by the PAS president.
He was accompanied by PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan and Terengganu Menteri Besar Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar.
The first meeting was held on June 4 last year at the Perdana Leadership Foundation's headquarters in Putrajaya.
During the first meeting, Mahathir had received a delegation of PAS leaders, including Hadi, Ahmad Samsuri, and PAS adviser Mustafa Ali. - Mkini
