Dr Mahathir Mohamad has set a timeline to hand over the prime ministership to Anwar Ibrahim, says DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng.
Asked during a press conference in Putrajaya this evening, he said the Pakatan Harapan presidential council will decide on and announce the handover date when “appropriate”.
“The prime minister has set the timeline.
“And definitely, the Pakatan Harapan presidential council will then meet.
“I’m sure a date will be set and that it will be announced at the appropriate time,” he said.
The Harapan presidential council is made up of top leaders from Bersatu, PKR, DAP and Amanah.
