A friend sent me this video. It shows a Chinese restaurant in Segamat making and serving roti canai, complete with the kuah kari etc. The guy is making roti telor. With a small twist - the guy adds soy sauce on the egg.
Talk about assimilation. As I said yesterday there are many Chinese kari-kepala-ikan restaurants. There is one Chinese nasi kandar restaurant in Puchong. One day the Chinese may take over the roti canai, kari kepala ikan and nasi kandar business. Competition is always good.
