KUALA LUMPUR: A video showing two cows running freely on the Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor (Latar) Expressway has gone viral on social media.
The clip, shared on the OhBulan Facebook page, features a motorcyclist riding behind the animals while cowboy-style Western music plays. The motorcyclist can be heard shouting "yeehaa" in a playful imitation.
The unexpected appearance of the stray livestock on the expressway has sparked a mix of humour, empathy, and safety warnings.
While many found the video entertaining, netizens also expressed concern over the potential danger to motorists.
"Usually these cows aren't ownerless, but their owners are careless and irresponsible," commented Taizah A Samad.
AL Razy joked that the cows probably jumped over a school compound fence because they could not stand being confined, while Zahra Faaris Azra noted the cows must have been scared and their presence on the highway was dangerous for road users. - NST
