
KUALA LUMPUR: Search teams looking for missing hiker Nur Izzati Humaira Azizul, who is believed to have gotten lost while descending Bukit Changkat Asa near Tanjong Malim on Saturday (May 23) covered an area of 0.436 sq km on Sunday.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department operations division assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said 76 firefighters, volunteers and non-governmental organisation (NGO) members, along with two tracker dogs, took part in the search that began at 9am.
"The victim has yet to be found.
“Operations were suspended at 6.30pm and will resume at 9am on Monday," he said when contacted.
Nur Izzati Humaira, 19, was last seen descending the hill with five of her friends and family members. - Bernama
