My comments : This was President Donald Trump's FIRST tweet in 2018 and he chose to slam Pakistan for their lies and deceit.

In designated security areas, Pakistanis cannot open a tea stall without a security permit from the Army. Opium production will likely increase - supervised by "rogue" Army units of course.
Pakistan has moved too closely into the Chinese orbit. The China Pakistan Economic Corridor or CPEC is taking shape quite rapidly. But not fast enough for the Chinese.
The US does feel "foolish" that after all the billions spent on Pakistan the Pakistanis are slow dancing with the Chinese instead. Such ungrateful goat herders. Plus the terrorists operating out of Pakistan or getting Pakistani support. Osama bin Laden was given safe harbour inside Pakistan.
For your information the Pakistanis have come out strongly denying Trump. Well, what else can they do? They could use quiet back channels, say sorry and make real attempts to remove terrorists and terrorism from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Kashmir. Will that happen? Not likely. There is big money involved.
Sadly there are too many unclever people in this world.
