Musa Aman to be sworn in as Sabah CM tonight

GE14 | Sabah BN chairperson Musa Aman is set to be sworn in again as the Sabah chief minister.
“It’s at 8.30pm,” said Musa, when asked when he will be sworn in.
Musa had announced that Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku’s (Star) decision to form an alliance with BN allows the coalition to form the state government with a simple majority.
At a press conference with Musa at the chief minister’s office at Sri Gaya today, Star president Jeffrey Kitingan confirmed that his party would cooperate with BN in Sabah.
With Star's two state seats, BN now has 31 seats in the state assembly, which is enough to form the state government.
The pact consisting of Parti Warisan Sabah, PKR and the DAP had also collectively won 29 seats, the same number of seats won by BN.
Earlier today, United Pasokmomogun Kadazan Murut Organisation (Upko) acting president Wilfred Madius Tangau announced that the party’s supreme council has decided to leave BN and join Warisan.
This, Tangau said, was to facilitate efforts to form the new state government, Bernamareported.
However, the five Upko assemblypersons who won in the election denied that they would join Warisan and stressed that they would remain with BN.
This was confirmed during the press conference with Musa today.
Tangau and fellow Upko leader Donald Peter Mojuntin had earlier visited the residence of Warisan president Mohd Shafie Apdal in Kota Kinabalu.
Tangau won the Tuaran parliamentary seat, but Mojuntin lost his bid for the Moyog state seat.
If Upko were to truly join Warisan, together with its five elected representatives, the pact with PKR and DAP would have 34 state seats, more than enough to form the Sabah government. -Mkini
