Negeri PH awaits instruction on swearing-in of new MB

Negeri Sembilan PH deputy information chief says they are waiting for further information from the istana.

Negeri Sembilan Yang Dipertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir will decide who will be state MB.

SEREMBAN: The Pakatan Harapan (PH) is awaiting further instructions from state secretary Ali Hassan on the swearing-in of the new Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar.

Negeri Sembilan PH deputy information chief Mokhtar Ahmad said upon receiving instructions from Ali, who is understood to have sought an audience with the Negeri Sembilan Yang Dipertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir this afternoon, he would immediately inform the media of what transpired today.

“We are waiting for further information. Once we have it, we will inform media friends as soon as possible about what is happening today, especially on the appointment of the Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar,” he said in a statement today

PH, for the first time, formed the government in Negeri Sembilan after obtaining a simple majority of 20 seats from the 36 state seats contested in the 14th general election.

The remaining 16 seats are held by the Barisan Nasional (BN). -FMT
