PETALING JAYA: Singapore recorded 14 Covid-19 related deaths yesterday, bringing the republic’s death toll to 329.
Its health ministry said the 14 were aged between 60 and 93 and all had underlying medical conditions.
In a statement, it said 3,174 new infections were recorded yesterday, bringing its total number of cases to 175,818.
The ministry said 2,843 of the cases were recorded in the community, 322 in migrant worker dormitories and nine were imported cases. The weekly infectivity rate is 1.18.
A total of 1,779 cases are currently warded in hospital, with 261 cases requiring oxygen supplementation, 107 unstable and 64 critically ill.
As of Sunday, 84% of Singapore’s population had been fully vaccinated, 85% had received at least one dose, and 13% had received boosters. - FMT
