The 29-year-old driver, who was apprehended by the public, tested positive for methamphetamine and morphine, say police.

Seberang Perai Tengah police chief Nik Aminuddin Raja Abdullah said police were alerted to the incident at 10.05am.
“The suspect was detained by members of the public and handed over to the police upon our arrival,” he said in a statement.
Nik Aminuddin said the man, believed to be driving from Sungai Dua in Butterworth towards Penang island, rammed several vehicles before being apprehended by the public outside a petrol station on the Butterworth-Kulim Expressway.
He said a search of the suspect’s bag uncovered 0.75g of suspected methamphetamine and 2.38g of suspected ketamine. A urine test later came back positive for methamphetamine and morphine.
Background checks found the suspect had a record for 15 drug-related offences and two criminal cases.
The case is being investigated under Section 12(3) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 for drug possession, and under Section 44(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for driving under the influence. - FMT
