Teresa Kok of DAP says Pusat Zakat (not pusat zakar) and Baitulmal Selangor must distribute zakat or tithe money to the non-Muslims as well because they (the non-Muslims) also pay taxes.
I wonder if she understands what 'zakat' is or the difference between 'zakat' and 'cukai' (tax).
Maybe the terminology confuses her, just like pronouncing 'tithe' and 'tit'.
However, it was a good suggestion (Muslims should help others too), and being the first non-Muslim politician to raise the matter, she deserves a good explanation from any 'ulama', especially from PAS.
