Adam Adli is currently facing sedition charges. - September 18, 2013.Adam Adli is currently facing sedition charges. - September 18, 2013.Student activist Adam Adli Abdul Halim’s suspension from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris has been extended. This time, indefinitely.
The 23-year-old said the university had extended the suspension on grounds that he was involved in the on-going trial under the Sedition Act.
“I received a letter dated September 6, signed by the university’s vice-chancellor Professor Datuk Zakaria Kasa, which stated that this suspension was because of the sedition trial,” he said in a statement today.
Adam Adli, however, claimed his suspension was politically motivated. – September 18, 2013.
