Warisan gets go-ahead to set up 1,111 new branches in Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: Warisan has obtained permission from the Registrar of Societies (ROS) to set up 1,111 branches in the state
Warisan secretary-general Loretto Padua said today the 1,111 branches are among 3,700 applied by the party.
He said those involved in the proposed new branches would be told to hold pro-tem branch committee meetings.
They should be held as soon as possible as the minutes had to be sent to the RoS headquarters in Putrajaya within 90 days, he said.
Loretto said the party will monitor the new branches to ensure they are active in serving the constituents. - FMT
