The higher education ministry said the implementation of online or hybrid classes is subject to the suitability and needs of each institution’s academic programmes.

PETALING JAYA:

Students and lecturers from public universities, polytechnics and community colleges who celebrate Deepavali may return home and follow online or hybrid classes from Nov 5 to 13.

The higher education ministry said this is to enable them to return to their hometowns and spend time with their families during the festive season.

The ministry said the implementation of online or hybrid classes is subject to the suitability and needs of each institution’s academic programmes.

“This is to ensure that the smooth running of the teaching and learning process and academic activities is not affected,” it said in a statement. - FMT
