Mrs Mugabe’s tryst at Langkawi resort

ZIMBABWE - President Robert Mugabe may be the world’s most notorious dictator but he seems to have lost control over his own wife Grace.

She has reportedly been having an affair with his confidant for five years, said Sin Chew Daily.

Her lover is allegedly Zimbabwe’s Reserve Bank head Gideon Gono and the two had met up in Malaysia before.

Quoting sources, the paper said the pair first started to text each other in 2005 and then met up two or three times a month at her home or a hotel in South Africa.

One of Gono’s staff members said his boss flew to a resort in Langkawi to meet Grace after a business trip to Kuala Lumpur in 2005.

“When we paid for the hotel bills, we realised that both of them had been staying together in a double room,” he said. - Star
