Pakatan chief ministers conference on Nov 29

KUALA LUMPUR — The Pakatan Rakyat (PR) Menteri Besar and Chief Minister’s Conference will be held in Shah Alam on Nov 29.

Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said among the issues to be discussed at the conference were the economy, infrastructure and investment, community development and mass media.

“Other issues will be on land including Felda, Felcra and native customary rights land in Sarawak, water, toll and workers’ problems,” he told a news conference at the Oppositon Leader’s office in Parliament building, here, today.

Also present were DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang, PAS deputy president Nasharuddin Mat Isa and PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

On a rumour that he might be suspended from the Dewan Rakyat sitting for six months from next month following his controversial statements on the 1Malaysia concept and Apco Worldwide, Anwar said he was not informed nor had he received any notice on it.

Anwar also said that the PR Leadership Council would meet up with the Election Commission soon to provide more information over claims that there were civilian voters who became postal voters.

He said the PR Election Committee would also coordinate a meeting with the Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections (Bersih) on the matter. — Bernama
