The Merlimau state assembly seat fell vacant after incumbent Datuk Mohamad Hidhir Abu Hassan, 54, from BN died of a heart attack on January 20.
Roslan, 44, is also a manager at Perbadanan Melaka Holdings.
The Election Commission (EC) has set February 26 for nomination and in the event of a contest, March 6 for voting. — Bernama
