Hasan to finally show proselytising video

Ousted Selangor PAS chief Hasan Ali said he will reveal excerpts of a video next Monday, which he claims will prove attempts by Christians to convert Muslims.
"I will specifically address the issue of apostasy, on which I have promised to reveal a video.

This comes after Hasan had claimed for months that he had proof of a Christian conspiracy to proselytise  Muslims, which is an illegal act.
Hasan had said the video was a confession of a Malay Muslim husband and wife who were baptised and converted to Christianity.

However, he said the couple had since returned to Islam with the help of Unit Selamatkan Akidah, which is under his purview.
Jati 'not obliged' to disclose finances

On a separate matter, Hasan brushed aside calls for him to disclose the funding for his new Islamic NGO, Jati.
“Why should I? Is it wrong for Jati to get assistance from various sources? If not wrong, why should I be obliged to disclose?” he said.

Following his sacking from PAS, Hasan, under the auspices of Jati, has embarked on a nationwide campaign to “explain” the state of Islam, Malay rights and the monarchy.

This, he said, was perhaps the reason that prompted his former colleagues, including Gombak MP Azmin Ali and Shah Alam MP Khalid Samad, to criticise him.

“When I was giving a ceramah in Batu Gajah, 15,000 attended, but I heard three days later the Shah Alam MP and a PKR leader went there for a ceramah, but only had an audience of 150. This is why they are afraid,” he boasted.
