MCA continues to blame Pakatan for Chinese rejection: Points finger at DAP's "articficial truth"
DAP Vice Chairman Tan Kok Wai is attempting to distance himself from any blame brought about by the attempted assault on Deputy Minister of Education Datuk Dr Ir Wee Ka Siong during the Chinese education rally on 25 March by a Pakatan Rakyat member.
In less than 24 hours after the incident took place, Tan Kok Wai had already responded by claiming that no Pakatan Rakyat member had been involved in the assault. His so-called efficiency in investigating the matter and in obtaining quick results is simply ‘amazing’.
I am puzzled as to how he could have, in such a short time, managed to clarify the truth. Unless his ‘truth’ is an artificial truth, meant to prevent any interruption on anything which might affect their chances of winning in the coming elections. Thus, DAP had quickly decided to distance themselves from the incident.
Godfather-Warlord also a factor
How is it possible that Pakatan Rakyat can confirm the number of their members who had attended the rally in such a short time? How can they confirm that the perpetrator who had tried to strike Ka Siong is not one of theirs? Did Pakatan Rakyat register the attendance of their members? Or did DAP plan this educational rally in advance?
Do not forget the ‘Godfather-Warlord’ incident where DAP Deputy Secretary-General Dr P Ramasamy had claimed elements of corruption within DAP. In that incident, even their party chairman had rejected the results of the internal investigation. Thus how can we be convinced by their claims that they are innocent of the attempted assault on Ka Siong?
I urge DAP to not try to cover the truth by looking for all kinds of excuses to clear those involve in the incident from any blame. In their attempt to be victorious in the elections, they have resorted to dishonest acts by politicizing Chinese education, thus destroying the future of our children.
