Shamsubahrin’s bid to strike out cheating case rejected


KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 29 — The Kuala Lumpur High Court today rejected Datuk Shamsubahrin Ismail’s application to strike out the cheating case against him, where he faces five charges of cheating National Feedlot Corporation (NFCorp) chairman Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Salleh Ismail.
Judge Datuk Kamardin Hashim also dismissed Shamsubahrin’s application to strike out 17 money-laundering charges involving RM1.755 million.
The Sessions Court hearing of the cheating and money-laundering charges against Shamsubahrin (picture) will resume on November 5.
