PARLIAMENT The federal government has tabled an additional RM 2.39 billion extra allocation for the 2013 Budget after overspending the RM251 billion budget which was tabled in 2012.
This is the first supplementary budget that the government has tabled for the 2013 Budget, with the biggest chunk of over RM2 billion directed towards the Treasury for Statutory Funds.
The second highest allocation was for Public Services Department with RM55 million, followed by the Works Ministry with RM53 million, and Communications and Multimedia Ministry with RM47 million.
