The application was filed by legal firm Zulkifli Yong Azmi & Co on behalf of Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar and the police.

Lawyer Azmi Rais said the application was filed yesterday and the Seremban Syariah High Court fixed Monday to hear the application.

"Our firm has been appointed by the Attorney-General's Chambers to represent the IGP and the police in this dispute," he said in a text message to Malaysiakini.
