Anwar Ibrahim says dates will be adjusted to enable him to attend the coalition's meetings.
KUALA LUMPUR: Pakatan Rakyat will be bending backwards to accommodate PAS President Abdul Hadi Awang for future coalition meetings.
Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim told reporters at Parliament today that Hadi’s attendance had not been regular at the opposition pact’s meetings.
“Probably at the next meeting we will give him good notice and adjust the dates, and make sure the date is suitable,” Anwar said. “I am sure he will be able to attend.”
Hadi has stayed away from the public eye since the end of the Selangor Menteri Besar crisis.
He was also absent from Parliament when the Prime Minister tabled the 2015 budget on October 10.
