Rosmah Mansor tells Indians she could do more for them if they used their IT skills to help neutralise online criticism hurled at her.
KUALA LUMPUR: Rosmah Mansor, the wife of prime minister Najib Razak, has said in no uncertain terms that if Indians guard her dignity and honour from online critics, she would be in a better position to help them more in their endeavours.
Speaking to 1,000 Indian graduates of a training course organised by the National Affirmative Action Movement (NAAM), Rosmah said, “If you stand by me, I can do much more for you, insya’allah,”
She also called on them to fully embrace all that Information Technology had to offer by using it for her benefit.
“Better teach them IT to know how to answer back to those nasty people,” she said in reference to those who posted scathing comments about her online.
And just in case her audience did not fully comprehend her instructions, she elaborated, “Standing by me means, you have to protect me… be in front of me and protect me, please.”
Rosmah said this in her speech at the event that was also attended by Youth and Sports Ministry officials as well as Wanita MIC leaders.
