Malaysians who are too emotional over the fate of jailed opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will allow his family to turn the Permatang Pauh parliamentary constituency into a legacy seat.
Malaysian Former Elected Representatives Council president Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Rahman said those who were "blinded" would be willing to accept PKR candidate Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail without realising that had fallen into an opposition trap.
"It is a family affair. Why do Malaysians allow this to happen? Enough. The people are just too emotional when it comes to the (Anwar) family," he said.
