KUALA LUMPUR - An identified man was decapitated after he was run over by a train on the KLIA Express rail line as it was heading to Kuala Lumpur Sentral station at 9.30pm last night.
His body was found on the track, and the head in a drain near the track, Chong said.
Cheras police chief Chong Kok Sin said the man was believed to be a regular passenger on the express rail line, based on a ticket found in his hand.
It was not immediately known if the ticket was on the KLIA Express, which runs between the airport and the city, or the KLIA Transit, which is a commuter service with stops at Salak Tinggi, Putrajaya & Cyberjaya and Bandar Tasik Selatan.
Police said said a statement was taken from the train company. The train driver admitted hitting an unknown object on the track.
The body parts have been taken to Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Hospital for post-mortem examination, while investigations continue to identify the victim. - BERNAMA
