GEORGE TOWN - A Hindu shrine located in Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling was splashed with faeces in an incident believed to have occurred early this morning.
No one had been detained at the time of writing.
It is believed a police report has been lodged for further investigation.
Northeast district police chief ACP Mior Faridalatrash Wahid, when contacted, confirmed the incident and said police investigations were underway.
The case is being investigated for injuring or defiling a place of worship with intent to insult the religion of any class under the Penal Code. - Sundaily
