Senior minister Mohd Nazri Abdul Aziz has denied that Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak issued an ultimatum to cabinet ministers over the 1MDB issue.
Speaking to Malaysiakini, he said the atmosphere at the cabinet meeting was not tense either.
“The PM merely told us the need to stand together and anything decided must be of one voice.
“PM said if there are ministers who are not comfortable with the 1MDB issue, they can send their (resignation) letters, and he would understand,” he told Malaysiakini.
The culture and tourism minister said no minister, including Rural and Regional Development Minister Shafie Apdal, objected. - M'kini
