Johor crown prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim has the uncanny ability to convey a powerful message with just a single sentence or gesture.
When Tourism and Culture Minister Nazri Abdul Aziz warned Tunku Ismail that he would be "whacked" in the verbal sense for meddling in politics, the prince responded with a simple video of himself gesturing what was interpreted as suggesting to the minister to bring it on.
The two have since called a truce, but the prince has not ceased from posting messages with political undertones on the state football team’s official Facebook page.
In a posting this evening, Tunku Ismail uploaded an image of his wife Che Puan Khaleeda Bustamam and him.
The clincher was the text below the image, which read: "Choose your lady wisely. She represents you."
The prince typed the word 'represent' in full capital letters to drive home the point.
The posting drew an avalanche of responses with commentators asking if there was an ulterior meaning.
Most linked the posting to Rosmah Mansor.
One commentator also posted a YouTube video, with an unflattering description of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's wife.
Rosmah has always been in the limelight for the wrong reasons.
Even today, she had rained criticisms on a report in Asia Sentinel, which claimed that Rosmah wanted to oust Bank Negara governor Zeti Akthar Aziz.
Her lawyers claimed that the article contained allegations aimed at injuring her reputation. - M'kini
