Putrajaya can interpret ‘sabotage’ any which way, says Dr Mahathir of anti-terrorism law

When asked to comment on the arrest of former Umno leader Datuk Seri Khairuddin Abu Hassan under Sosma, Dr Mahathir said there was no specific definition of sabotage stated in the act, making it to be entirely up to the government's interpretation.
"It says something about sabotage, but does not explain what is meant by it, so even if you step on a picture, it can be called sabotage.
"And if the government says what you do is sabotage, then it is sabotage; if you are found guilty, you will be sentenced to life imprisonment," he told the press after addressing a peace forum in Malacca today.
