Decision is made by Health Ministry to halt use of the facility by those who have no business at the hospital.

KUALA LUMPUR: Vehicle drivers who use parking bays at hospitals in the central Peninsular area will have to start paying for the convenience, announced Deputy Health Minister Hilmi Yahaya today.
According to him, the measure will be taken to avoid the free parking from being used by those who do not have any business at the hospital.
Hilmi added that the ministry will be opening tender offers to run the parking lot at its hospitals on a temporary basis, with rates set by the ministry.
“The rate charged at our car parks will be set by us and those who wish to be involved will have to follow the rate,” he explained.
He said this in Parliament as a response to BN-Kuala Kangsar MP, Wan Mohammad Khairil Anuar Wan Ahmad regarding the abuse of hospital parking spaces by those who have no business at the hospital.
