Wow, it's good to be The Boss isn't it?
1) As CM of Malacca, he gets RMxx,xxx as salary and Honda Accord
2) As PKNM Chairman, he gets RMxx,xxx as salary and Merc S400
3) As SAMB Chairman, he gets RMxx,xxx as salary and Lexus RX 350
Idris Haron must be a very busy and important CM, I must say. When CM of Penang Lim Guan Eng bought an older Merc S300 at a discount of RM100,000, many in BN created a lot of fuss. I guess in Malacca, Idris Boleh. What say PM of Malaysia? Is Idris trying to tell PM what you can do, I also can do!
Saul: Aiyah, why can't you simple folks understand? A Muslim man in Malaysia is allowed four wives, so why can't the CM be allowed to have three or four cars? Afterall, we can't expect him to ride on bikes when there is so much to carry. He also will most probably get sick of riding in the same car all the time and want a change! Now all you must understand - riding on the same thing all the time leads to boredom and familiarity- so the more the merrier. God, please have pity on the people of Malacca who haven't seen what others in Malaysia have.
Oh Malaysia: YB Ariff of Raub, Pahang aptly puts it - the Umno people are people lacking in talent and ability, who never worked hard even a day in their life when they were in school, college and university but yet passed. They are corrupt and support a corrupt system. Those who earns a living on “hak istimewa” know no shame.
TheNextSaga: This is an example of greed. One official vehicle is good enough for a civil servant whose primary duty is to serve the rakyat. Looking good should not a priority at all.
Roger 5201: What is wrong with supporting our national car which also sell rebadged Hondas? What image is CM Idris trying to project with his two luxury Marques and who does he need to impress?
Jusoh: Why does one man need so many cars? Really a misuse of public funds. The money spent on the unnecessary luxury cars can be used for other more beneficial activities for the less fortunate in the state.
Lee Chee Wat: What is these three cars compared to the RM2.6billion donation? After all, the CM is also a smart man. He will definitely do whatever he can to benefit himself first. All these incidents are happening throughout the country because the head is corrupt, why should he be clean?
Eagle Lee: I only know he could have four wives but never know CM could have more than one official car, even though men normally refer to their cars as wives.
Robert Li: Vote wisely at the next elections. Don’t complain, complain, complain.
Sang Kancil: These village idiots are cut from the same cloth.
Kit Lee: Why are VIPs ashamed of using Proton or Perodua?
Helen Powers: Proton is not good enough. Ask rakyat to buy Malaysian products, but ministers are flying high and milking the country dry.
Michel Wright: Only weak people need to impress, and most of our leaders belong to this category.
Dass Lourdes: Government money mah!
Faroze Nadar: Actually the fact that the usage of his car needs to be highlighted to criticise his leadership speaks volumes of his achievements. Because Opposition can't point Melaka's growth and attractiveness such as the fact that one of the top two most powerful men in China came to visit Melaka and not any other state. This is the same story when LGE bought his Merc. Nothing big to complain about - so go for petty things.
Yee Kwok Fung: As chairman of these two bodies, wonder if he is also paid chairman/director fees. If so, how much? Plus the two cars, quite a lot of perks and remunerations. Any other chairmanship?
Kc Kong: To make up for shortfall in other areas - pun intended
Naza Majid: O My God - not ashamed to say another Malay yang memalukan negara
Tee Boon Ong: It’s Loyalty that matters.
Michael Yeow: Speechless!
