Ku Li: Two jobs? There aren’t enough job opportunities!

Umno veteran Tengku Razaleigh Tengku Hamzah today lamented on the dearth of job opportunities in the country.
His expressed this when asked to comment on Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister Ahmad Maslan’s suggestion that Malaysians should juggle two jobs to tackle the rising cost of living.
“The problem is, are there job opportunities? (People) can say that if you do not get enough income from one job then you should find another job to increase your income.
“But the problem we face is there are no jobs. Like myself, I don’t even have one job,” Tengku Razaleigh, who is widely referred to as Ku Li, said at a press conference in Kuala Lumpur today.
According to the Statistics Department, the unemployment rate in Malaysia was recorded at 3.1 percent in October this year.
As of October, 450,800 Malaysians were unemployed.
Ahmad, on the other hand, has continued to defend his suggestion today, tweeting that he had meant that Malaysians should have one job and at the same time embark on an online business.
“Those who are interested should go for it. Those who are not interested should not get angry,” he said in his tweet today.
Defending his remarks made over the weekend, Ahmad yesterday pointed out how he himself holds three jobs.
His defence, however, has not been well received and is currently being made the butt of jokes among Twitter users through the 2kerja and buat2kerja hashtags.
Many have also pointed out how his three "jobs" were not jobs but instead posts.
